NOTICE The PSA SICAL filed a Writ Petition No. 40638 of 2002 in the Hon’ble High Court of Madras challenging the Authority’s Order Number TAMP/21/2002-TPT dated 20 September 2002. The Hon’ble High Court of Madras has issued an interim direction on 8 November 2002 permitting the Petitioner to charge for all the services rendered by the Petitioner in the licenced premises located in the Port Trust based on the tariff prevailing prior to the passing of the impugned Order dated 20.9.2002 in Case No.TAMP/21/2002/TPT pending W.P. No.40638 of 2002. Subsequently, High Court in its judgement dated 17 August 2005 dismissed the Writ Petition in view of Memorandum of Compromise (MOC) drawn between the Petitioner, TAMP and the Ministry of Shipping. |
